Jackie (captain) and Charlotte (naturalist) were lots of fun, informative and made sure we all had fun and saw lots. The bear sightings were outstanding plus we also saw two wolfs with the wolfs hunting a deer (did not get it).

The most amazing sighting was a mother bear and her two cubs that appeared to be walking on water. It was a sand spit but the spit was under a couple of inches of water. Great day all round.

June 4 sunny, a bit of rain.
We saw breaching humpbacks, humpbacks spouting right next to the shore, white-sided Pacific dolphins speeding through the boat’s wake, porpoises, sea lions, and of course Lenore with her two cubs, plus many other grizzlies including 2 mating couples.
We would not have seen any of this without the expertise, patience and passion of Mike and James! Thank you!

My husband and I booked a tour on May 21st.
Our boat Captain Mike, Naturalist James and Naturalist in Training Laura were all outstanding!
You can tell that they really love what they do. They didn't just take us to the spot where everyone goes. They took the time to check out a couple of other spots on the the way to Glendale Cove. It really paid off. While we were watching a grizzly eating shellfish on the beach, a mother and two cubs walked up. We watched them for at least 45 minutes. I think our guides were even more excited then the passengers. These were the first cubs they had seen this season.
Our guides were very informative and during lunch, (which was delicious) it was fun to hear their stories about past bear experiences.
I can't say enough about the tour. It definitely exceeded our expectations.
Thank you Mike, James and Laura! It was a great day.

On the 3 of june 2018 I visit for the third time Tide Rip Grizzly Tours. In 2015 twice and also this year in june. The tour was amazing again. A great crew (Jackie and Laura). We saw grizzlies, black bears, a sea otter and many bald eagles. Also the environment in the nature and habitat of the grizzlies is great. So quite, so peaceful.
When you are in Telegraph Cove: Do the grizzly tour with the Tide Rip organisation. The guides tell a lot, they know a lot about everything you see on the way and
obviously love what they do. The passion what they have is so nice to see. All in all it was a wonderful day.

Thank gtfr

We had an excellent experience with James and Jackie on June 1st, 2018. We saw 11 grizzlies close enough to watch their behavior for an extended period. I did not realize before how much variation there is in colour and behaviour. Both James and Jackie were so knowledgable that we came away knowing much more about both grizzlies and the area.
