I met up with 2 other 'foodie' couples at 9 in the morning and we all piled into Gaetane's comfortable minivan. By suppertime, I had visited 5 regional sites offering fresh organic and/or local food and drink, ranging from farmer's markets to deer farms to whiskey makers. At each place the proprietors welcomed us with delicious samples and informative presentations. Gaetane herself is extremely knowledgeable and a delightful conversationalist, giving us a much better understanding of the future path of food sustainability. A former gourmet chef, she prepared an amazing picnic lunch for us too, with a zillion different options - cheeses, fruits, salads, meats - we were stuffed. I heartily recommend her daylong tour. You'll enjoy yourself immensely.
