I am quite surprised that there aren't more reviews of this fabulous little park in Comox. A 9 acre heritage property on the ocean, it was the home of Robert Filberg, former president of Comox Logging Company, and his family. The park has various garden areas, the Filberg family home and a number of outbuildings, and a tea house that operates in the summer. The grounds are free to wander through, except when fundraising events are taking place which are used to maintain the park grounds and buildings. The park is a lovely place to have a picnic, just take a walk, go for tea/lunch at the tea house, visit the lodge and its small gift shop, take children to the hands on 'farm' in the summer, attend the Filberg Festival during the August long weekend, and attend summer music concerts. This is a beautiful spot and well worth a visit!
