Peaceful 9 acres to wander. Historic old Lodge is a must see. Great shaded areas for families to enjoy quiet play activities with the kids. Excellent food venues and two stages to enjoy the music - plenty of seating.

“A Comox Gem”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 August 2014

The Filberg is a great place to amble through the gardens, both in summer and winter, taking the time to drink in the ocean view in front of the lodge. If the lodge is open for tours, they are very interesting. The gardens are gorgeous, there is a small stream meandering through the property, a herb garden, deer are normally preasant, and there are interesting sculptures. The shade is lovely on a hot summer day.

“Music Music And more Music”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 August 2014 via mobile

Better hurry, by the time this is posted the Filberg Festival will be almost over. If you are thinking about what to do next August long weekend, this must be on your short list. Fantastic music and oh , the gardens. Strolling around the property looking at the many vendors while going between the 2 stages.
The lodge is simply stunning as is the Music.
We are coming back next year for more than just the day.

“Lovely gardens”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 July 2014

Filberg Park is a beautiful gem in the middle of Comox. It is a delight to wander through any time, but of course in the summer the Tea House is open, and on the August Long Weekend there is the Filberg Festival to enjoy.

“Filberg festival August long weekend is the gem of Comox”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 May 2014 via mobile

If you are planning an August vacation on Vancouver island, I recommend going to the Filberg festival on the long weekend. Two music stages, top local artisans selling their wares, good food. The site is a well preserved rich family farm from the 19th. century including amazing house, meticulously kept grounds and original animal enclosures. Great fun for everyone.
