We stopped here several times for coffee. We didn’t try the menu but the coffee was delicious. We had Americano and drip coffee. They brew the East Coast Coffee company and it’s very good.

We had tried several other restaurants in Alma that night but all were closed. An Octopus’ Garden was open and we had a great dinner.

My wife had sautéed scallops which were outstanding. The accompanying garden salad was very fresh and delicious. My burger was perfectly cooked and very tasty.

A local musical group was playing. They were entertaining and not too loud.

Overall a great late night dinner.

I had the pasta and prawn dish. It was the best I ever had... par none. The pasta is homemade, and the prawns (or shrimp) were fresh and cooked. Everything is scratch cooking, so the extra wait time was well worth it. The prawns were cooked just right and not over done. The mixed side salad was very complementary. If you want more than fast or cafeteria style food, this is the place. My wife had the scallops & pasta, others had grilled cod fish which was equally as good. We were a group of eight, and all of us had very enjoyable dinners. Great spot.

We were road tripping through Nova Scotia and PEI and stumbled upon this restaurant. Thought it looked cute and what a wonderful surprise. Homemade pasta, outstanding sauces, mussels were some of the best we had. Excellent bread, it was refreshing, as bread was something we definitely found lacking through our Canadian trip. We are from Boston, so do have a high expectation! Overall, highly recommend this spot.
