This is a very small restaurant with really nice waitresses. I eat here for a meal every time I visit St. Stephen. The food is good. They have great home made desserts! My favorite is the roast turkey meal.

We stopped here for lunch to soak in some local flavor. It was OK-nothing fancy or elaborate, but plain food. The fish chowder seemed a little watery, but maybe that's how they cook it in St Stephen; the fried fish was hot and good. It was mostly local people here, and they all seemed happy, so it's clear it's a local favorite! The restrooms were clean and the service was attentive.

Had a small fish and chip, really good. Friend had the western sandwich and liked it also. We were talked into a really good piece of blueberry pie.

Stopped in St. Stephen for the night on our way to Nova Scotia and had a great homemade dinner at this cute, family-owned 60's era diner complete with vinyl booths and juke boxes at the tables. The place was packed with locals even on a Tuesday night and the staff was friendly as can be. We found the water bowl outside for your pets and the colorful well-tended flower boxes out front to be a nice welcoming touch.

Found this one on the GPS, off the highway and worth it. Looks like a very popular local diner and it's easy to see why. Decor was homey, under renovations and hopefully they are putting in more seats as they need them. We had probably the best fish and chips in a while. Delicious, crunchy coating and yet light at the same time. Delish! The staff made us feel like we were old friends. A real gem!
