I booked a 2 bedroom cabin, for the weekend of Feb 24-26 2012,what a big mistake!!!!!
from the web site the place looks clean and tidy,oh how different in person.When I got to the cabin,I noticed cob webs all over the celling and the celling fan.A child with me was up in the loft and said he put his head through cob websagain dirty!! I also notice the smoke detector was not in its place,so I looked around and found it on top of the fridge not working. Tthen I went to the bath room and the light fixture was missing and you could see the wiring behind the light bulbs.Thats not the worst of it, My company with me went to use a pot under the sink, and the pot had FOOD left in it yes food in it,that really upset everyone. at the cabin.I took the pot up to the store and asked the lady in the store what that was in the pot,she said I dont know,Then I told her it was food left in the pot when I tried to use it She was sorry about what had happened, and asked me what do you want me to do.With this a man that was in the store came over to me and said what is wrong.The lady answered him and told him my troubles and he replied with What do you want me to do your not getting a discount,do you want to leave tell me now I could have rented that cabin 60 times tonight I could send some one down and clean it up for you but your not getting a discount.he repeated himself over and over until the lady said give him a chance.I then went back to the cabin and tried to get a room some where else but could not.I had some busness in town the next morning, when I finished I tried to find a room and I did.with that I called funland back and asked for my money back for the room and the man on the phone laughed and said he had takened care of my problem at the cabin.I asked if this was the owner and he said yes and he would not refund my money for the 1 night.I took my belongs to my new hotel at more cost to me,and found that the owner had taken out the garbage,and left a different pot a role of toilet paper,and a couple of towels,I guess this makes up for the dirty condtion of the cabin
