“Great meal with a view!”

We had a great meal and a great waiter in James. He really explained things well and took the time to just chat also.

“Consistamt Experience!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2014 via mobile

Inn at Happy Adventure (Chucky's Seafood and Wild Game) is a wonderful treat for the traveller, local or tourist. When we visit Terra Nova National Park we make sure we visit. The food was fresh, staff were great and setting wonderful. If visiting for lunch make sure you try the fish and chips. Chowder was great as well as the salads. This restaurant is well worth finding although a few more directional signs would be would be helpful!!

“Best scallops ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

Wonderful local seafood. Good wine list. Lovely view ....what more could you want? A very busy place so reservations a good idea. Keith of the nearby Lilac Inn convinced the owner to seat us even though he was fully booked. Thank you both!

“A Newfoundland Joke!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 August 2014

I visited this restaurant two weeks ago with friends . We were looking forward to a meal of fresh fish . we made a reservation for 6:30pm and it was a Monday evening. first of all the restaurant was out of halibut, then no mussels ,and the king of all excuses ...... "We can't serve you the lobster platter because the lobster is too big.!!!! " Really. !!!

The manager eventually intervened and included a lobster tail and one claw with the platter . Wow!!!!

Are you kidding me!! What a joke!! I am advised the owner had a restaurant in St John's that closed after two years operation. This place will not survive either.

“just awesome”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 13 August 2014

We really enjoyed breakfast and dinner there. It's cosy and relaxed, and we loved the moose-meat. For people who like seafood, they have fresh lobster as well.
