“Comfortable House”
Reviewed 9 November 2016 for a stay in September 2016

The house was a fairly small bungalow that was very comfortable. It would have better to have been on the ocean in the village but it did have a good of Gros Morne. The national park is quite interesting especially the Tablelands and the ocean villages are interesting. We stayed 2 days and that was more than enough to get a good feel for the area. Nfld is very different from almost anything else in Canada and is a lot like western Ireland and Scotland. It is great to visit once but you probably won't go back.

“Beautiful!”
Reviewed 1 September 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Oliver's Landing was absolutely beautiful - tastefully decorated, modern, clean. Loved it! Would definitely return and will most certainly recommend it to any friends/family that will be making a trek to the Northern Peninsula. It was really nice as well to chat with the owner while staying there, and the fact that they allow pets was a bonus for us. And of course, you can't rate this beautiful little cottage without stating that it is situated in one of the most beautiful places on this Island.

“Awesome home away from home.”
Reviewed 10 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Well equipped, cosy, sparkling clean and modern small bungalow. The location is great for exploring all of Grose Morne. It's about a km out from the centre of Rocky Harbour in a quiet spot with mountains in the back. I would recommend this spot.

Enjoyed our stay in Oliver's landing home. Directions to get to it was very clear. The first night the owner called to ask if everything was OK and gave us some info on the area. He recommended a good place to buy seafood and we had some wonderful meals. There was a barbeque for our use. The kitchen was well equipped except it lacked a dishwasher but that wasn't much of a problem.
The home was a ways from the main area of town so not really walkable, especially at night, in the dark

“A fantastic choice for visitors to Rocky Harbour”
Reviewed 24 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

We were delighted with our stay at Oliver's Landing in Rocky Harbour. We arrived to a modern, well-appointed 2-bedroom cottage and made ourselves at home.

After travelling for quite a few days through Newfoundland & Labrador, the sight of the reclining living room furniture, comfortable beds and Whirlpool wachine machine and dryer were very welcome indeed!

We cooked a barbeque dinner out back in the evening, and made use of the picnic table at the rear of the property as well as the plastic Muskoka chairs at the front, which provide a nice spot from which to observe the passing public.

There were a generous amount of satellite channels to choose from and we enjoyed the spacious bathroom. Although the property doesn't afford a view of the water, you do enjoy very pleasant view of the surrounding mountains and countryside.

The owner, Keith, also called us on the night of our stay to ensure everything was in order and to inform us to take care when driving to avoid moose. A nice touch.

We'd stay here again in an instant. Highly recommended.
