“excellent spot for a family or an eclectic group”
Reviewed 19 January 2014 for a stay in June 2013

We booked Goose Cove for a birthday/father's day and sort of family reunion celebration all rolled into one; all adults, ranging in age from 40s to 80s.
Goose Cove has something for everyone. The library is extensive and varied, there are lots of games to play, two canoes and a dock to fish from. The unique layout offers corners to hide away in, as well as lots of room to gather in the kitchen, living room, or on the decks.
The "parents" absolutely loved their first hot tub experience.
The dining area was tight for 8 people.
It is ideal place to bring people together, without feeling like you are on top if each other.
It about 5 minutes by vehicle to the heart of Trinity proper where you will find the Trinity Pageant (a must do) along with many interesting shops and a couple of museums.

“Excellent vacation home near picturesque Trinity”
Reviewed 21 August 2013 for a stay in August 2013

We really loved the location and all the excellent amenities this rental home offered. From other reviews you can see that this house lacks for nothing in terms of a extremely enjoyable stay. We would stay here again and highly recommend it, with one caution. On this trip we were 4 couples staying here for a week. The house was advertised as '4 private bedrooms' when in fact the 3rd & 4th bedrooms are in a loft accessible by a ladder. The 4th bedroom (not really a bedroom) is an alcove....not private at all (no door, drawers, nor closet) with a double-sized bed. The owners state that "this is a part of the architectural concept and intrigue about the unique build" which is all well and fine it you are not the couple using this space in the loft's alcove as your bedroom. Bathroom visits during the night require sober deliberation. Since this house has 3 bathrooms it is more suitable for 3 couples.

“Best Vacation Rental Ever for Multigenerational Family!”
Reviewed 5 July 2013 for a stay in June 2013

We were fortunate to be able to spend 8 days in this large, beautiful, comfortable home. It had plenty for all of us, two seniors, two working parents and one 18 year old year old ready to go off to college. Bedrooms and bathrooms were set up for maximum privacy. A large, extremely complete kitchen with wine coolers and a gas range made cooking fun. A beautiful view of the water, a lovely firepit, a private dock and a hot tub gave everyone plenty to do. Then there was the music system for every room, the sauna, pool table, outdoor games and much more. It was very hard to leave! Beds were super comfortable with fluffy duvets, lots of terry cloth robes and even slippers were provided. Believe me, we will all be back as soon as we get another chance!

“Great Time”
Reviewed 13 May 2013 for a stay in May 2013

Anything you could ask for in a retreat. So beautiful, and well stocked. Amazing view, and so much to do at the retreat without even leaving the building. One negative was the 2 rooms which required the Ships mate ladder, one of the rooms did not have a door or privacy screen of any kind, which was a major negarive when travelling in couples.

Hightlight of the house? The Hot tub and the music system were killer.

We are delighted that Gen enjoyed her stay. Thank you for choosing us and for your positive comments. Regarding the room in the loft: That room has an open concept that overlooks the area below. That is a part of the architectural concept and intrigue about the unique build.

“An amazing getaway at Goose Cove Retreat!”
Reviewed 9 January 2013 for a stay in January 2013

I've stayed here several times with friends and have thoroughly enjoyed every moment at this home; it truly is a retreat. This one of a kind sanctuary keeps the cabin vibe while providing extensive amenities and an extraordinarily relaxing experience. The beds were so comfortable I could barely get myself out of bed! I highly recommend this spot and am looking forward to my next visit :)

“A true retreat!”
Reviewed 7 January 2013 for a stay in January 2013

This place is a retreat by the definition! Having been here three times now, I have found it harder to leave each time. The whole area of Trinity is incredible with little shops and the town of Trinity no more than a five minute drive away from the property. The property itself offers such a relaxing environment that is perfect for couples, friends, and colleagues to enjoy whether it be a family/friends or corporate retreat. As for the amenities, there was nothing we did not have! The kitchen was very well equipped for any type of cooking and the living room area was very comforting with an exceptional speaker system. Every bathroom had everything we needed, and having 3 full baths gave each sleeping area within the house a separate one to use before bed. Whether it be summer or winter, it is a relaxing and elegant property where you are sure to have a great vacation. I cannot wait to go again and would suggest the same for anyone else!
