My family was spoiled by the owners John and Tineke GOW the family understands hospitality and customer care.
We travel extensively and this vacation was over the top because of weather, accommodations and food in Trinity provided by Artisan Inn and Twine Loft dining.
We will return again soon.
Superb location, lovely room, excellent food - just wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you Tineke Gow and your friendly staff.
Why can't all B&B's be like this?
The Artisan Inn provides a comfortable room with a water view of Trinity Bay, but it wasn't one of my favorite places. There is nothing to complain about, other than the owner is definitely running a business - or maybe 2 or 3, as, during our rushed check-in, she was all about getting us tickets to that evening's play and on a boat tour the following morning, both of which we agreed to, yet when she saw us an hour later in her small dining room, she asked how we got that table not being guests at the inn. The service was very impersonal, the food good (we had dinner at $32pp+tax but small portions), and the bed was comfortable. This innkeeper just didn't have the warm, personal touch that almost all Newfoundland innkeepers seem to exude. Next time I would stay somewhere else - but maybe she own them all!!
My husband and I stayed at the Artisan Inn in the beautiful town of Trinity for three nights. We absolutely loved our accomodations and the peaceful surroundings. The Inn is located in the heart of the town and within walking distance to the theatre and many nearby restuarants and tourist attractions. Our room was clean and quaint, the nearby dining room at the Twine Loft was also charming and cozy. We spent many hours lounging on the deck overlooking beautiful Trinity Bay - a perfect spot to relax and unwind at the end of the day. Breakfasts consisted of cereal, yogurt, fruit, freshly made muffins/tea buns, and a hot dish (crepes, french toast, and quiche on the days we were there). We ate supper there on one night, which was also delicous - the local and organic ingredients were a nice touch and the food was all so fresh! However, it was the friendliness of the staff that made this Inn an especially welcoming place to stay. The owner, Tenike, made a special effort to stop and have a chat several times during our stay. Her passion and love for the Trinity area was infectious and she was eager to make helpful suggestions as to daily activities and to share her knowledge of the area. The kitchen staff were also very friendly and accomodating .... we will definitely be returning to the Artisan Inn!!

Taking - instead of sending - us to Lighthouse View Cottage the day we arrived; serving us libation on the deck overlooking the bay; providing laundry service; always being greeted by the owner and staff in a friendly and helpful manner; all added greatly to an enjoyable stay at Trinity. Thank you.
