We drove down to this lovely part of the Maritimes tonight to experience yet again a wonderful jewel of a restaurant. We have had the good fortune to have experienced many wonderful restaurants in the world, but are really blessed to have one of the best so close by. Everything is freshly made and incorporates many local ingredients. The starter pasta with local clams, chorizo and cherry tomatoes was divine and the main course of local scallops with crispy prosciutto and pureed celeriac was wonderfully prepared. The dessert of poached pear and chocolate mousse was better than any I have experienced.
We were also fortunate to have the front window seat and experienced a colorful sunset over the Bay of Fundy.
