We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this perfect location for views, cleanliness, friendliness and access to Cabot Trail activities. Heather and Yvette were wonderful hosts and the other staff were very friendly as well. The Acadian heritage of Cheticamp highlighted the area. we enjoyed the seafood restaurants and the Acadian music.
The sunset here is fantastic!

Room Tip: We were in room 15 and it was just fine as I would think all the rooms would be.

A wonderful location with amazing views. We thoroughly enjoyed BBQing and eating on the picnic tables out front, watching the sun set. The cottages are clean but the things I missed were paper towel in the kitchen and hand soap. Things you can buy but found that at other places we stayed had better amenities - we had a full fridge (only bar fridge here) and full BBQ (hibachi here) so for the group we had we were using all 3 hibachis to make dinner). No stove (2 top burner) not that you would wnt to use that in the summer. I found the price a little higher than we had encountered elsewhere for less amenities.

Decided to look for a place to stay after some long hours on the bike and after a couple of passes through town we decided to try the Chalet. No one was there when we arrived, but a "welcome to call me" sign was on the door. We proceeded to do so. With-in 5 minutes she returned to check us in. She was very friendly and considerate of where she located us since others had dogs. Handed me a hair dryer as requested. After a very short walk around the corner to a resturant for dinner, the sun started to set. What a beautiful sunset it was. Just took our breath away. We were delighted that we couldn't have found a better view to end such a long day. The Chalet was cute. It had everything you needed and was very clean. This would be a return stop for sure if/when we return to that area.

We spent 4 nights here in mid June, and were the only ones there for 2 of those, so it was lovely and private, but if all the cottages were full it would not be so. We had fine cell phone reception there. The bathroom and bedroom were great, and very comfortable. Living room was not cozy; lamps with black shades are mounted high on the wall, giving a gloomy , dim light, not good for reading in evening or on rainy days. All was clean and well equipped. Staff were delightful and helpful. Easy walk to restaurants, and close to the incredible park.

Room Tip: We'd recommend the end cottage (#18) as it has best views and privacy.

Hubby and I were on a 3 week drive about from Ontario, flying by the seat of our pants, with no reservations anywhere....we were helped at the tourist info centre and this place was recommended .....We stayed in one of the chalets, this was late in the season, but we were warmly greeted by the manager and showed to the chalet....it was very nice, clean, a good layout, and very comfy......upon inquiring about laundry facilities she said we could use the one onsite free...we thought that was very nice of her and because it was later in the day/evening she had to close up for the night but gave us the key for it...Great (?)..I don't think that she knew that the dryer was broken, we didn't either until the 2nd time around with one small load....oops.....so we ended up with 2 very wet, smelly loads of laundry until the next day when we found the laundromat in town (thank god)...but things happen..oh well..The Sunset over the ocean though....OMG!!! Just GORGEOUS

We spent one night in one of the "chalets" as it had been raining and we were doubtful about camping. As it turned out it was a dry night and we should have camped! The rooms are simple but adequate and come with some basic cooking facilities and wifi. However, I had the unfortunate experience of sitting on the couch reading a book and having an insect crawl out from under the couch and bite me on the leg. Never worked out just what it was but a rather painful and itchy bite. I found the bed quite uncomfortable.

Very poor value for money.

Overall, we were glad to leave and would not return
