Reviewed 17 July 2014

My family and I loved staying at the skyline cabins, the owners and staff are extra friendly !

The cabins are very clean and comfortable.

My 2 puppies were very welcomed.

It is situated close to good restaurants, cafe's and gift shops.

We will come back next time for sure !

Stayed here one night recently. Room was clean and comfortable with large bathroom. Bed was very comfortable. Only downside was lack of air conditioning. Room had one small window and no breeze to cool down the room. We had a queen room that was 1/2 of a whole cottage so could hear sounds from room on other side of dividing wall. Bonus to have fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Staff were very friendly.

The room looked nice at first glance. It was clean and the bathroom was newly re-done. But when we went to organize our suitcases there was no luggage rack and I'm not sure where one would fit. Then we went to hang up our coats - there was no closet, no hangers - nowhere to hang up anything. A very large dresser was in front of the heater and there was no desk for computer use. In all a very inconvenient room. We went to ask the owner and she said they had re-done the room and forgot about those things. She did adjust our room rate by a considerable amount and gave us some hangers we could use on the shower rod. But we did not enjoy our stay in this cramped room.

Room Tip: Hopefully some rooms are comfortable - not ours though.

The cabin we stayed in was just renovated with updated finishes and fixtures. The double beds were comfortable. The bathroom was bright and very clean. The covered deck had a dining set with four chairs. A restaurant/bakery across the street provided a convenient spot to stop for a meal. The location was close to the beginning of the Highlands National Park which made for an easy start around the park first this in the morning. It is also located close to several trail heads for hiking. I would recommend it to any travelers in the area.

The owners were very friendly. Nice quiet location. Cabins are finished nicely and very comfortable. Was disappointed that it advertised wifi but we couldn't get a signal due to the location of our cabin.

Room Tip: Maybe ask if the cabin your booked in gets the wifi signal.

This is our second visit to this wonderful place. We were again treated like family. Our hosts were helpful and very cheerful. Our cabin was lovely, furnished with everything we needed to make our stay pleasant and comfortable. I would not hesitate to return here again and highly recommend it to any travelers to this area.

Get in late and Jim gave us a great deal on one of his newly renovated cabin. When we walk into the cabin my wife and I could not believe how nice the inside was. It was like stepping into a high end hotel. Had everything we needed plus. Fridge, toaster, microwave and all your dishes and utensils.Amazing sleep in the Queen size bed.

Room Tip: We stayed in cabin 4
