2 fiddles + 1 guitar + 1 keyboard + step dancing by an 8 year old = a very special night of music. Tea and oatcakes served at intermission hit the spot. Great entertainment and great venue. I was first there about 15 years ago. Still magical

We saw the last night of "Getting Dark Soon", a Ceilidh, and it was great. Excellent music, full of energy and fun. Violinist Jennifer Roland was a delight, as were the 3 fellows on the stage with her. A wonderful theatre with a very interesting history (started out in a Disney movie at the Louisbourg Fortress site!).

This was a fantastic intro into the musical culture of the Maritimes. What a bunch of talented people! Music, dancing, and comedy. And at intermission they serve tea and delicious oatcakes (included with your ticket), loved that! I think my cheeks were sore from smiling so much by the end of the night.

No dislike. Just sheer entertainment. Hand clapping, foot stomping eastcoast music. Small venue so there is no bad seats. Even give you a tea and oatcakes during intermission. You can donate if you like.

A great Ceilidh and we were lucky enough to have Jennifer Rowland as the principal performed in this beautifully recreated Globe Theater.
