We were travelling around Nova Scotia, staying in B & B's each night. I was checking Trip Advisor as we went and, based on the great reviews, decided to try A Seafaring Maiden. We were not disappointed. :o) We had a lovely and spacious room that had a bay window overlooking the water. Bill and Anne-Marie were gracious hosts, explaining that there would be coffee available in the hallway for early risers and what time breakfast was. It's true that Bill was very knowledgeable about the area and had lots of suggestions for us.
The house apparently, was built by Anne-Marie's great-grandfather (maybe great-great?) and at some point was sold out of the family. It's a beautiful old home and I think has special meaning that Bill and Anne-Marie took the trouble to bring it 'back into' the family.More
