“Not coming back.”
Reviewed 27 September 2013 via mobile

This b and b did not meet our expectations in many ways. The room is small, and decorated with antiques that would have been poor quality even when they were new. They have not improved with age.
The room we chose was to have a private bath, which we found meant that while it reserved for us, we had to walk through the common hallways to get there. This was dissapointing to us.
The breakfast a bowl of fruit, 2 slices of French toast, 2 slices of ham and coffee tea and juice. It was OK, but it would be nice to have a choice of other items.
The room was not expensive, but that was not the point. The b and b experience was what we were after and it felt a bit like visiting grandmas house.

We stayed in early August 2013 and were very pleased. Evangeline's Tower combines modern amenities with the feel of staying in a Victorian mansion. Host was friendly and provided great advice on exploring the area. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were immaculate and comfortable.

Luckily the B&B we went to first didn't have a room available as we would not have had the opportunity to stay at Evangeline's Tower . The house was super charming as were the host and hostess. Jamie and Monica did everything to make our stay in Parsboro a great experience. We felt very welcomed and our whole family had an instant connection with both of them. They pointed out all the great little spots to go and visit and even took us to a wonderful little secluded beach off the beaten path. The rooms were super clean, very spacious, comfortable and wonderfully decorated. Our morning breakfasts were exceptional as was Jamie's coffee ;-). Thanks so much for the wonderful hospitality, we wish you all the best!

Stayed in late October as Hurricane Sandy headed toward Nova Scotia. As many Inns were closed, we were grateful that the hostess accepted us late in the day. She offered a comfortable, clean room - without breakfast, as she was unprepared for our arrival. We were grateful to have a bed for the night. The sitting room was private and clean, with a connected breakfast nook / dining room (coffee and tea service availabe all day). The bedroom was spacious but the TV was far too small to be seen from the bed. Overall though, it was a good value.

This is a great B&B ! We stayed in the Gabriel's Suite which had a separate twin bed in the adjoining room so that our son could be slightly separate from us. There is a small TV but I much prefer sitting on the veranda or looking at all the collectible items in the lounge room. Blueberry cinnamon buns for breakfast were to die for!

In Sep. 2011 we stayed for 1 night at the Evangeline`s Tower B & B. The room was upstairs, spacious and with a nice lounge in the "tower". The B & B is in Victorian style, the rooms are bigger than in the B & B we had seen before, nicely furinshed and decorated - they have no tv, but they have WiFi (great!). Our room was lovely and we had some good sleep. The breakfast was very tasty, homemade and generous. We had it together with two other couples at one big table (they were nice people, but we did not have much in common). The situation reminded us of the old Miss Marple movies ... It was a funny experience.
Our room and the B & B itself were in a way, that one can easily stay some more days and explore the region. There is always water in the kettle for tea or coffee for your convenience - and a nice breakfast- and livingroom for your recreation.
We can recommend the Evangeline`s Tower B & B and we would like to stay there again. Parrsboro is a nice place for walks at the beach and around - and the people are very friendly.

We chose Parrsboro for one night of our trip because of it's situation on the Bay of Fundy, and the Ship's Company Theatre in town.
Evangeline's Tower is located in a Victorian era looking mansion on one of the main roads in this quite small town.
No one was at home when we arrived, however a phone was sitting on the front table with instructions to call the owner, who told us which room was ours.
Rooms were very spacious and most have en suite bathrooms, wit two sharing a large bathroom off the upstairs hallway (as we were the first guests to arrive, we looked at all the rooms).
The property has wi-fi, an upstairs balcony overlooking the front garden, and plenty of parking.
Breakfast was good, with a hot dish (like a quiche) plus muffins, fruit, cereal etc.
The owner (not called Evangeline) is a professional opera singer, and appeared as "Christine" in Toronto's "Phantom of the Opera". She still sings professionally, and it did not take much persuading to get her obviously proud husband to put on some of her CD's.
