My spouse and I spent a few relaxing hours going through the Fundy Geological Museum. I found it informative and interesting, but this is an afternoon stop, not a whole day trip. Some of the displays could use a little updating or repair, but for a smaller museum it had a good variety of displays and information on the Fundy area geology.

We loved this little museum. It has some really unique and interesting exhibits, plus it is in a pretty location where you can just enjoy the view.

My wife and I stopped here in August on our 2018 cross country road trip. We were really surprised at the extensive displays and impressed with this museum. It has lots of parking, an excellent gift shop and even activities for kids. It’s very well run and will be appreciated by those with an interest in Geology and Dinosaur’s. We plan to return next time we are in Parrsboro.

After reading about this tour in the local newspaper we decided to visit Parrsboro and take part in a "Wasson Bluff: Jurassic Dinosaur Site Guided Tour". After registering, we drove to the designated entrance of the site on the roadway and then walked down the pathway that was tricky and sometimes steep on the way to the beach. Our guide ensured we could all hear her when taking and was a wealth a knowledge. As part of the tour we were allowed to dig in the protected site with tools supplied by the museum. My wife found a piece of Amethyst at the conclusion of the tour heading back up the beach with the group that she got to tale home..

A nice selection of minerals and some limited fossils. It was set up more to show children the interesting facts and the type of materials found in NS.

We travelled to the museum with our 6 year old. We were all pretty impressed by some of the things we learned. We chose not to take the beach tour. After we left the museum we went for a drive and ended up at the beach the tour was at. We chose right. Shouldn't take much more than an hour to go through the museum with a small family. We were well under the hour with just 3 of us. Not sure it's great for preschool aged children but our son enjoyed it.

This geological museum was treat to visit mainly because of the informative and attentive guide who showed us round. If you are in the area it is well worth a visit.

This museum is well looked after with plenty of detailed architectural finds. If you are interested in this type of thing you will find it fascinating.
But if you have young children who love dinosaurs it is above their interest level. It is interesting to see the dinosaur fossils from around here. But it got only a quick run through from my 5 year old grandson.
He did enjoy painting the ceramic dinosaurs for only $5.
The gift shop has a nice variety.

the displays are well-presented by and large and we were very ably assisted by a friendly, knowledgeable student doing a summer job

Enjoyed the mix of geology and fossils, as well as learning about the area. The young staff members were very engaging, friendly and knowledgeable. Followed a tour group and heard a lot of the leader's comments, plus had the advantage of another staff member present, volunteering information and answering questions about various exhibits.
