On a recent drive my husband & I stopped in here for the view & lunch. There was a large table of local walk ins on the patio, their order already in. Then a couple with a child came in after us. The Server wearing inappropriate stretch gym wear pants got our order & drinks, while twice calling me "honey" :( Anyway ... We waited over 30 mins after our orders were taken & the people with the child got their food 10 mins before we got ours. ?? During this time the door was open with a fresh sea breeze blowing in the open dinning room to the open patio. But, no flies in sight. The dinning room is comfortable enough but, a bit rundown & old fashioned country in the details. Sad because this space has such great design potential for more modern & finer dinning.
However, The View is great & the Quinoa & herb coated Grilled Haddock with (server) Mariam's Greek salad was Fantastic! It fit my new Gluten free diet & was fresh & delicious. My husband got the Scollops & fries & was really impressed too. A Large portion of Sea ones lightly breaded with crispy fries. We loved our coleslaw which was homemade too. We left satisfied in a very tummy yummy way close to 3 pm. My husband laughs but, wish I wasn't also left with the image of those ...Not For Work in the Public Pants! Or Just stay in the kitchen Mariam, making tasty food :) & I'm not your Honey, watch the terms you use with customers. This Business could be off the rails busy with some modern updating, fresh paint & more business like service & attitude cause, the food was Great & Saved our Day.
