We had date night at Aquagrill last night. The atmosphere is lovely, warm and cosy with a touch of elegance. The menu is interesting and the items we chose were delicious, beautifully presented and tasty.
The wine list is excellent too, a note though: even if I order only 1/2 a bottle of wine I would like to have the bottle brought to the table just as if ordered a whole bottle.
Service was good, the waitress is to be commended for taking care of 5 tables all by herself. What we didn't like is that her English is hard to understand. She rattled off the specials, starting each one with "had" (ex. "had soup of the day..."), I guess she meant "we have"...Long pauses during which she glanced at the ceiling trying to remember what she had to say...in the meantime I'm trying to smile and nod encouragingly and unable to understand much. Needless to say we had none of the specials as we couldn't be sure what they really were.
It would be much better to do a small computer printout with the daily specials and pin it to the menu.
All together a very nice experience though and we would go back.
