We returned to the Red Pump today for lunch having not been there for two years. The atmosphere, gardens and surroundings were lovely, but the food and attention to detail were disappointing and not what we had previously experienced. The prices are high and the food mediocre with none of the frills of former visits, such as chocolates served with coffee, bread being offered. Our cappuccinos were luke warm and weak and were served in tall mugs. Not a real cappuccino. We will not be returning.
