We always try to have lunch on the porch whenever we are in town. Once again, great food and service my wife had the lamb burger which was excellent and I had a tagine that was perfectly spices with lots of fresh local veggies.
We have never had anything but superb meals here and for not that much of a premium over what you would pay at the run of the mill burger place.

We went for lunch and were the only guests. Perhaps it is location; perhaps it is the white table cloth service. If so,you are missing a delicious meal in a quaint atmosphere. They gladly split the main course for us. Try the fresh perch fish and chips.

We have come back to the Little Inn several times over the last many years, for sentimental reasons. We love Bayfield and the Little Inn is a special part of it. It is a beautiful building with some history. This Easter Saturday we decided on the spur of the moment to have dinner. We both felt the meal was not only overpriced but extremely rich (read "fat"). The lobster tails were coated with something akin to fish & chips coating. My husband had pickerel which was OK- but deep fried olives? I believe the chef is being ironical. We do not plan to return for a meal.

Apologies for the experience you had during this stay. We have since taking over as new owner in October 2014 put tremendous focus on the food product which is paying off with great reviews and comments from our guests.

If you are every back in the area please come back and experience the new Little Inn and our food program.

Warm regards,

Joanne Oliver - Owner

Stayed at the Inn for a night and had a wonderful dinner and breakfast here. The heirloom beet salad (dinner starter) is incredible! They made me a special vegetarian dish for a main which was also quite good. Wine list is extensive and good. Desserts were wonderful especially the flourless chocolate cake. Breakfast the next morning was also very good. I recommend getting the Hot Cinnamon Spice tea as well - incredible!
