I had been told about this place a couple Of years ago and finally made it in on our way up to open the cottage. To say we were surprised is an understatement. The service was friendly and attentive. I had the mushroom soup my wife started with the Caesar salad and said it was the best she'd ever had. The mushroom soup was rich full of mushrooms, a deep rich flavor I think maybe a little bit of Sherry. We followed with the Elvis platter which was a mixture of ribs, crispy yet juicy chicken wings, and a great shrimp dish in a sizzling cast-iron pan. The beans had a real Southwest flavor and just the right level of spice. Towards the end Of our meal the chef himself came out to see if we've enjoyed ourselves and I noticed he was doing this to other tables as well. A nice touch for sure. This place has excellent value for the money And we highly recommend it and we plan to make it a ritual on our way through this quaint little town. What a gem!
