Once a year, 20 of us get together for Sunday brunch. The food is excellent and diverse. It's right off the 401, so it's easy to get to. The original manor home and setting are so pretty.

We visited this Inn when entertaining relatives from out of province, and we were out daytripping. As there were 6 of us, I had made a reservation requesting a table indoors as it was going to be a very hot day and we had 2 elderly people in our party. When we got there, the table turned out to be in a dining room which was up a very steep flight of stairs and which could not be navigated by one person in our party.Apparently there is no elevator. We opted to eat out on the patio, and found it was very pleasant in the shade. It was nice to be outside, and enjoy the flowers and the grounds. The noise from the highway was not too bothersome. The salads were fresh and delicious with a very nice house vinaigrette. The bread on the sandwiches was a bit overpowering, and the crepes a bit greasy, however, everyone enjoyed their lunch, and the time looking around the historic Inn.

The food is excellent and I love the fact they use local suppliers. We have gone to the Elm Hurst on several occassions and have always been very happy with both the food and service. It's also the only place I've been to in this area that cooks your steak correctly

The meal at the wedding was exceptional. They must a have a terrific chef at the Elmhurst. Chicken was tender and the beef was super tasty. The side vegetables was fresh. Oh and the soup was to die for.

The Elm Hurst Inn lived up to expectations and provided my office team with a comfortable environment for our corporate retreat. The accomodations were fantastic.... after a long day of meetings, I was able to relax and unwind in my room. The rooms were WAY nicer then the ones shown on the Inn's website - newly renovated, ultra modern washrooms with a super comfy bed. I found the staff to be quite helpful, responding to any requests in warm and welcoming way - the kind of service you just wouldnt get at a big hotel or resort. Very good experience overall.
