This was a wonderful home with an interesting history. Our hosts (Gordon & Linda) were friendly, outgoing and knowledgeable about the area, We were treated to a fantastic room that was decorated in a style that completely complimented the era of the home. It was really wonderful. Gordon was able to provide me with a delicious gluten free breakfast. Be sure to check in before heading out as Perth Manor has an agreement with a local restaurant (Stone Cellar) for some free goodies. All in all it was a comfortable stay and while a previous guest complained about noise from the train, I have to say that I didn't really notice it and if you are considering a stay at Perth Manor, I wouldn't let that deter you. Enjoy!

I would recommend Perth Manor highly. Our experience there was very good, from the warm, friendly reception we received from Linda, to the lovely period decor and amenities of the "house", the comfort of the John Wilson room, including a very good sleep in the comfortable bed, and the breakfast, which was delicious with generous garnishes of fresh fruit served with the omelet. The staff are friendly, and attentive, and willing to offer advice about sightseeing and eating in Perth, being very knowledgeable about the area. They are musicians, so their addition of wisely chosen soft recorded music adds a lot to the ambiance. We would definitely go back the next time we are in the area.

We had the most pleasant discovery in the charming town of Perth. The owners were very engaging, interesting people. Our room was very charming and comfortable. We so enjoyed talking to Linda and Gordon. Gordon is a great chef as we sampled his breakfast entrees. We also were able to learn many interesting facts about the town and the people. My husband and I were so glad we got the opportunity to experience such a wonderful old house. The train did go through town many times a night but it did not keep us awake.

It's a charming house, however, the location is horrible ... Extremely close to the train tracks which makes it impossible to sleep at night ... I am not a light sleeper by any means however, those train horns will wake you up !!! I think the management should invest in newer windows instead of the earplugs...

We stayed here for our wedding. Lovely room, friendly host and hostess - all in all a wonderful place to stay !! The room was spacious and comfortable with a large en-suite and beautiful music playing whenever we entered.

Had a wonderful stay at Perth Manor for my father's birthday. My wife and I stayed two nights in the Victoria room with two other friends. Linda was kind enough to give us a history of the Manor as we made our way to our room; pointing out interesting facts about the rooms and the people they represent. The Manor was decorated in period furniture which added to its Victorian charm. Gordon is an excellent chef and conversationalist. Everyone of the staff was warm and friendly.

The only disappointment we had was that we couldn't enjoy the outside patio due to inclement weather (it rained most of our stay). Highly recommended.

Room Tip: If you are traveling in a group of 4 people, I would recommend the Victoria suite.

Stayed at Perth Manor for a wedding. The property managers were amazing tending to the bride's needs and ensuring that everything ran smoothly. Great indoor and outdoor ceremony options and absolutely to-die-for food! Perth Manor is so wonderful that next time I have to go to Toronto on business, I will take a couple of days to spend here. Highly recommended!
