“Great breakfast”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 August 2014

In an area with lots of bagel joints, What a Bagel stands out.
Terrific variety on the menu for breakfast, from eggs and omelettes to salads and French toast.
The omelette plates are huge with three eggs and a nice variety of fillings. It comes with a delicious salad and a bagel. Other dishes include an enormous granola bowl with fresh fruit.
Servings are over the top generous, fresh and very tasty.
The server staff are very friendly and attentive.
This is a terrific place for breakfast.
The only drawback is that when the place gets busy the noise level is very high.

“So this is a tough one.”

On one hand once you eat a what a bagel bagel you can't eat another bagel ever! On the other hand their sit down restaurant (eatery) is an average place with extremely high prices.

“Best Bagel”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 March 2014

If you get here early in the morning, they come out nice and warm. Always get their fresh bagels and signature cream cheese. They serve breakfast as well, but be warned it gets busy. So many varieties of bagels, sweets, nice fluffy croissants that melt in your mouth. Their onion buns not that great though. I always get their everything on bagel and marble. So many choices you need to check this place out. Everytime in Toronto, where my company based out of, always come here and get a bagels and bring back to hotel with either egg salad, cream cheese (lots of choices), tuna salad and of coarse lox. Best bagels in the city.

“Bagels & much more”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 March 2014

One of the larger bagel chains throughout the GTA. They offer a wide variety of baked goods beyond bagels. I prefer montreal style bagels so their offering is not my favourite. However their Rugelach, a Jewish pastry, is equal to if not better than a good homemade one. They offer a nice selection of other pastries as well. More in the mood for something savoury, give their bourekas a try. Which is a phyllo dough triangular pastry usually filled with either feta cheese, spinach, potato or a combination of two fillings. Their challas are also great and worthy of your custom.

“Good sweet potato fries”

Excellent place for breakfast, good food, prompt service, just expect a long wait in a crowded entrance on Sunday mornings.
