“Just outstanding on all levels”
Reviewed 24 December 2013

I checked in last Thursday 19th Dec @ 6pm for a one night stay with my 8 year old son while we were down for a Hockey Tryout at Westwood Arenas just down the street.
I was very excited about this particular hotel after looking through the website and reading some very nice reviews and getting a great CAA price.
The hotels location is very easy to find off the highway and lots of parking and very modern clean crisp appeal from the road.
As you walk in to the brand spanking new hotel you instantly get a good feeling, It even had that New smell to it.
My son and I were greeted by a friendly very outgoing and knowledgeable Front desk team member who instantly made us feel right at home and treated my son like a little adult which made his day. He explained in detail everything we needed to know and we proceeded up to our room on the 4th floor #411.
Noticed all rooms have cool doorbells and exterior visual displays to aware cleaning staff that your room needs a clean or a privacy option. Very cool and sure beats having to hand a piece of cardboard on the door for somebody to rip off during a drunken return to there room as a prank.
The room was spacious elegant and very modern with beautiful luxurious finishes. Huge bright bathroom. Nice desk area with swivel TV to be enjoyed at all angels. Nice L shaped modern coach and I have to say one of the most comfortable King size beds I have ever slept in. Also very nice assortment of pillows.
We later enjoyed the very nice salt water pool which was very clean. They have strategically placed clean towels and laundry hampers all over the pool area which was a great bonus.
I also used the hot tub which was also very nice and at a perfect temp.
Popped into the gym and was very impressed with all the equipment they had to offer and a great free weight section. Also a large TV in there which was nice to watch the Leaf game while working out.
Breakfast the morning was great. Lots of selection for all types of breakfasts. Again have to mention how amazing the staff at breakfast were. Offering to make fresh stuff if needed.
Checkout was fast and simple and no hidden costs.
As you can probably imagine I was just blown away with everything about this awesome hotel.
If you want a great experience I would recommend this place. And if the owners read this review please commend yourself and your staff for creating a brilliant product.
Cheers Alistair Harlond

I just loved everything about this brand new hotel. This is a beautiful modern luxurious hotel. The service is second to none and they even allowed our furry little friend. I was thrilled about the all day cappuccino, really nice touch. The room has the westin heavenly bed, so it is just like sleeping on a cloud. The kitchen was just lovely in the room, and ideal for longer stays.
My family liked hanging out in the lobby area. We liked relaxing drinking coffee, watching TV and met some very nice people. The pool is small, but well built , modern and relaxing. I found the pool temperature to be a little too cold, but the hot tub made up for it. In the summer when the patio is open with the tables and lounge chairs , it will be wonderful. I was really impressed with all of the thought that went into building this hotel. Breakfast buffet is a really nice touch too, but get there early before they run out of waffles. (We all slept in because of the comfy beds)

Room Tip: The rooms are all suites. You can't go wrong with their standard room.

Clean, new, large room. Loved the full kitchen & the sitting area. Felt more like an apartment then a hotel room!
Front desk was friendly & helpful. Enjoyed breakfast each morning as well.
Just booked another week's stay. We will frequent Element whenever business or pleasure brings us back into the area. Thank you Westin!

We booked the Executive room for three nights.

We were blown away with our room. It was appointed with any and every amenity imaginable. It felt like a luxury condo with housekeeping!

The room has a separate bedroom with a sliding pocket door. A built in closet in the bedroom for hanging an entire suitcase worth of clothes. Wall mounted smart tv with USB inputs which read most media files. The executive rooms are only on the south east corner of the building. The bedroom is flooded with natural light from two huge windows on the south and east walls.

The bed was extremely comfortable, complete with lush linens and lofty pillows. There wasn't a spec of dirt in the entire room.

There's a full kitchenette complete with a full size refrigerator, electric range, dishwasher and microwave. Pots, pans, flatware and dishes are stored in over the counter cabinets.

The bathroom was very clean. High end bath faucet, rain shower head and hand spray. Beautiful vanity with more than sufficient lighting for shaving or make up. The bathroom was rather large for a hotel which was refreshing after staying in rooms with tightly packed bathrooms.

The living room area was complete with a sectional pull out couch. Large wall mounted articulating smart tv (the same as bedroom). Large desk with the appropriate connection jacks for computing, or charging electronics.

Complimentary in-room safe, ironing board, dry cleaning bag, etc.

All in all, the room is fantastic. We came back for a fourth night and stayed in a standard room which was equally stunning on a smaller scale.

This hotel comes complete with pay per use laundry, salt water pool and hot tub. There is a gym, conference rooms and a high end espresso machine. Makes a fantastic espresso and latté. Our room rate came with a hot breakfast. Buffet style but not your typical powdered eggs and cereal. We enjoyed what looked and tasted like gourmet breakfast burritos, a selection of yogurts, cereal, toast, and premium juices.

Outside landscaped courtyard complete with built in barbecues for guest use, seating areas and a designated smoking area (there is no smoking anywhere else in the hotel)

This isn't your everyday executive hotel. It is green focused and it shows well. Starwood should seriously consider building more Element hotels in tourist attraction locations to give vacationers an affordable taste of luxury.

My husband and I stayed overnight for just one night as we attended a wedding at Copper Creek and didn't want to drive back into the city. The front desk gentleman was very friendly, welcoming us as soon as we arrived, as were the staff, and the lobby area was bright and inviting. We loved our very spacious room and its amenities, imagining how comfortable a business traveller would feel in this space (with us wanting to live there ourselves), and most of all loved the very warm welcome for our 4 year old Wheaten Terrier - he enjoyed his own bowls, dog bone shaped place mat, gourmet treat and his very own Westin bed. Overall, a GREAT experience, we loved it!

There are not a ton of options in this area of the Toronto suburbs, and this is by far the best. We travel to this area three or four times a year and have two small kids. The hotel is extremely friendly and convenient for those with or without kids. Good breakfast with different options. The staff is over the top friendly and helpful. Great gym and pool. The rooms have full fridges and stove tops. We won't stay anywhere else now.

Room Tip: I don't think there are any bad rooms. All have a full kitchen.
