Owner description: Recognized by Golf Digest as Canada's Best New Course in 1994. Overlooking the north shore dunes of PEI, Crowbush continues to enthrall all those that take the challenge to conquer one of North America's very best. How can it get better than a Golf Digest five star rating? Undulating fairways, water holes with a wisp of wind, pot bunkers and challenging greens all come together to provide you with an experience not to be forgotten. Truly an unbelievable combination of nature and imagination. Of all the courses that are considered a "must play", Crowbush is certainly one of them. If you can tame the 6,903 yards at the Links, you should be able to play well anywhere. Rated four and a half stars by Golf Digest Places to Play, which raves, "Outstanding, plan your next vacation around it". SCORE Golf Magazine rated Crowbush in the Top 2 Best Value Golf Courses in Canada. The Links at Crowbush Cove is situated around the dunes on the north shore of PEI and is located at the Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort on Route 350, off Route #2 near Morell. It is approximately a 30 minute drive to Charlottetown.

“Links at Crowbush Cove”
Reviewed 30 August 2014

This is supposed to be the premier golf course on PEI. While it it is very scenic and affords great view over the Gulf of St.Lawrence, it is not the best, in my opinion in PEI. I think Dundarave, which is also a provincially run course has it. This course seemed to somewhat run down.the province is trying hard to sell to a private buyer. It still is a challenge and worth the visit.

“Excellent Scottish-Style Golf”
Reviewed 28 August 2014

While not a true 'links' course in the traditional sense, Crowbush has all the feel of a classic Scottish links course. The layout presents a great combination of target-golf' and 'risk-reward' scenarios. Some holes will yield to 'brute force' distance, while others require great finesse and placement. Knowing when to 'go for it' and when to lay-up is key; you can really get yourself into trouble if you don't plan your shots. Well-placed tee shots provide excellent scoring opportunities here: the greens are large and receptive (though some present true putting challenges if you find yourself on the wrong tier).
The course is very scenic with fabulous ocean/beach views common on many of the holes. I found myself pulling my camera out on a number of occasions.
Highly recommended.

“Exceptional Golf Course”
Reviewed 24 August 2014

The course is about 30-40 minutes from Charlottetown so reasonably convenient. It is set on rolling landscape with trees, water and bunkers in play. The course is eminently playable with an excellent design; appealing to all levels of golfers. The 16th is an excellent short par 4 requiring a longer tee shot to clear the water but on the correct line to address the green side bunkers. The 17th is a very, very short uphill par 3 with a deep green side bunker. Even a slight breeze makes this hole quite entertaining.

“Gorgeous course, even during constant rain and thunder”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

This course was so highly recommended, we decided to keep our tee time even though it was pouring rain and thundering. We were happy we did - the scenery was gorgeous, especially the last 4 holes. Women get a great yardage advantage on this one. The course is challenging, but good for people who can hit it straight. Well worth it!
