The king sized bed had the best mattress that I've ever slept on. The rooms and Inn in general were so well kept. The manager was always on site and it showed in how well the place ran. The room over-looked a small harbour with fishing boats. Walking distance to some nice restaurants.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on facing the water.

Fantastic clean rooms in a quiet quaint setting, a true oasis for the weary traveler looking for a good nights sleep. Comfortable beds and a variety of rooms available as well as great services like a coin op laundry, a nearby ice cream shop and convenient to the town center as well as a walkway along the river. I highly recommend the dining river cruise that one can purchase thru the front desk. A great setting and wonderful staff bar non.

Room Tip: There are suites, cottages with all facilities and motel units. All are excellent.

A very lucky find in Montague. We stayed in this new, multi storey hotel with views overlooking the river and marina.
Our premium King room was tastefully decorated, comfortable bed and bright, modern bathroom. I was pleasantly surprised to find such a nice property in a smaller town.
A basic breakfast was available in the morning.

Stayed a single night while taking a driving tour of PEI. Booked last minute and only the executive suite was available with a King bed, which is less common in PEI. Lovely suite with living space, balcony overlooking the river, spacious bathroom with oversized jacuzzi tub, and separate sleeping area. Very comfortable suite. No window in the sleeping space, which made it nice and dark for sleep. Comfortable bed. The set up was nice overall. The tub was a bit finicky, but the hotel staff were immediately responsive and helpful. The room was on the 4th floor, but there is an elevator, so not an issue.
The room had a decent sized mini fridge, and a Keurig coffee machine. Breakfast is included, it is a continental breakfast, including a waffle maker. Small breakfast room, can get crowded.
Montague feels more populated than much of PEI (outside of Charlottetown and Summerside), but is still a small town.
There's an ice cream stand on the property near the stairs to get down to the path that borders the river. We walked the path ( a former railway ) a bit. You will need bug spray if you are walking at dusk, as we did. Interesting place to visit.

Room Tip: Has king beds available

Stayed 1week. Loved the hotel. Right on the Montague River. Beautiful view. We got here in time for the 100 year city festival. Lots of free concerts and events. Visit in 2017 and all the national parks are free due to Canada 150.
