In fact this eating place is what we could call a fishing shack between the road and the sea! We had read TripAdvisor ratings for this place and decided to go there for dinner. We drove in front of it 3 times before finding out that this was the place. The sign reads Joey's as it is the name of the boat rental business to go fishing. It's the same building. Nevertheless, there is an outside "window" where they take your order. Seems like most people who go there order for take-out. Adjoining the kitchen is a very small room where you can find 4 tables if I remember well. You can eat there. There is also a few tables outside, facing the bay. It was kind of windy when we were there so we stayed inside.
The four of us ordered the fish & chip and we all liked it. In fact it was the best one I had in this seven days vacation in New Brunswick and P.E.I. where I tried f & c in 4 different locations.
The fish was really fresh probably taken the same day, the chips were excellent, of the home-made variety not made from frozen potatoes and the service was friendly. Off the beaten track from Cavendish where they are waiting for tourist (know what I mean ?), this small restaurant is worth the extra 5 or 6 miles East. Don't miss it though, it's hard to find !!!

We were in the mood for fish & chips and this seemed like a good place for it, since the fish is brought in just a few metres from here. Also, they have a wonderful outside deck overlooking the small bay.

Wow. You rarely get fish this fresh, and this perfectly cooked. Crispy outside and really moist inside. The fries were also very good. Add to that the fact that they carry PEI-made beers, and you can't get a more local experience.

The only sad thing was we were there on the last day of the season for them. I'll surely visit again if I'm in the area during high season.

We were driving by and pulled in to look around; we had a quick snack of muscles & oysters. Food was delicious and service was prompt and friendly. If you want some local fresh seafood, try this place.

More of a fast food place serving fresh deep-fried fish and lobster sandwiches and oysters. we both had the scallop burgers which were fantastic. if its warm enough the view from the back patio is quite nice. however if its too cold your better off getting take out as the inside section isnt much.
