In fact this eating place is what we could call a fishing shack between the road and the sea! We had read TripAdvisor ratings for this place and decided to go there for dinner. We drove in front of it 3 times before finding out that this was the place. The sign reads Joey's as it is the name of the boat rental business to go fishing. It's the same building. Nevertheless, there is an outside "window" where they take your order. Seems like most people who go there order for take-out. Adjoining the kitchen is a very small room where you can find 4 tables if I remember well. You can eat there. There is also a few tables outside, facing the bay. It was kind of windy when we were there so we stayed inside.
The four of us ordered the fish & chip and we all liked it. In fact it was the best one I had in this seven days vacation in New Brunswick and P.E.I. where I tried f & c in 4 different locations.
The fish was really fresh probably taken the same day, the chips were excellent, of the home-made variety not made from frozen potatoes and the service was friendly. Off the beaten track from Cavendish where they are waiting for tourist (know what I mean ?), this small restaurant is worth the extra 5 or 6 miles East. Don't miss it though, it's hard to find !!!
