The building architecture is impressive. The inside of the main church is beautiful. It also houses several chapels (including the Shrine of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupre) in the lower levels. Very nice place to visit and spend some time.

If you are in Quebec city - this is a spot to visit, even if you are not Catholic. It has wonderful ambiance and great architecture.

We visited this church since we had a relative who recovered part of his sight as one of the miracles of this church. It is a beautiful catholic church. There is a wall of crutches and other assisting devices which have been left here by the cured. I would recommend going with a tour if you want the full story.

Wow! What an amazing structure and history. They offer mass daily from 7am to 9pm. The churches across the street are part of its history. Check out the church made from parts of the original church which burnt in a fire. Number of stairs to climb to get to the other 2 churches so be prepared. The tour guide told us it became a Basilica do to the healing powers of Saint Anne, and after it burnt down 3 times was reconstructed again where it now stands in 1923. Also there are literally hundreds of thousands of mosaic pieces inside the church. Use the brochure to find your way around and don't miss the chapel on the lower level. My birthday happens to be on June 24th - St. Jean The Baptist day and I asked the guide the reasoning behind his demise? It was rather disturbing, but you can find that out for yourself! Enjoy and check the amazing similarities from one side of the inside of the church to the other. You can't tell any difference.

It is a lovely sanctuary and gives you a sense of peace and tranquility - lots of natural light. We spend over an hour walking around
