As everyone below me has posted, the hotel is very very nice and has a very modern look. The hotel is located right in Sutton and a short 5 min. drive to the mountain. The one thing that stands out with Le Pleasant over any hotel i've stayed at in the past while is the service. You truly remember a place when the service is exceptional and Le Pleasant is one of those places. The owner took care of all our needs and informed us about what we can do etc. You can see that he truly cares about his guests.
I would recommend this hotel for anybody and everybody and hope to be back in the near future.

The stay was amazing. We were greeted by the owner, who was extremely courteous, and friendly. Although our room was rather small, it had a modern, chic flare to it, that made you feel like you were staying at an expensive hotel in a big city. The bathroom was very spacious and very well decorated, with a good size bathtub.
We bought a package which included a 2 night stay with 2.5 days ski tickets for Mount Sutton. The hotel is only 5 minutes away from the mountain by car. Great package for those who love to ski.
It was great starting off the day with a GREAT breakfast (included: fruit bowl, croissant or scone, eggs, ham or bacon or sausage, potatoes, beans, choice of fresh juice, and a delicious coffee.
Overall the stay was great, and not to mention the best customer service out of any place we've stayed at. The early 1900's house had a cozy feel, with a hit of modern flare, which made the stay very memorable.

In an old house, totally renovated lovingly attentive to the details, our expectations were exceeded. Small, intimate, quite romantic. Very warm and inviting. And modern. Keurig coffee maker. We took a better room, as there is only one small room with tub, and one larger room with tub, and I suppose the smaller one was taken. The restaurant which is opened Thursday through Sunday fit the bill for us coming back from Quebec City ...with a stepped up level of fine dining, but not wanting a French buttery rich meal to sleep on. More on this in food review....

My wife and I came upon the hotel by accident and it has now become our home away from home when we are in Sutton. It was just written up in the Air Canada EnRoute magazine so I guess our little secret is likely over. The two owners have built a very sophisticated product in a small town location. Everything is really top notch for a very good price. Rooms are great with lot's of extras. Breakfast is to die for and don't forget to ask for the hot chocolate becasue I understand it has been voted the best in the province. The service is great and the owners and staff will make you feel like you are at home. We also had dinner in thier restaurant one night and the tapas menu was excellent.

We (me and my girlfriend) stayed for one night on a rainy fall weekend.
The hotel is very clean and the staff very courteous.
The room was however quite small for the $210 a night Queen size bed.
There was no fridge as well.
The bathroom was very modern, however although it looked spacious, was quite the opposite.
The sink area was very cramped, hidden by the mirrors which make it look much bigger.
The shower was huge, except the shower head would not let the water extend beyond a couple of feet to take advantage of its size.
Breakfast was quite tasty, albeit bite size.
Finally, although the air conditioners are beneficial for those hot days, on the cooler ones, you can hear the noises of the streets through the window AC cracks.

Overall worth, in my opinion $150 a night.
$180 a night if the tapas offered in the evening were to be included

Room Tip: Do not pick a room facing the street Maple or Principal as the evening noises trickle in.

We were in town for a wedding. Found Le Pleasant on Hotels.com and ABSOLUTELY loved it. It's a recently remodeled older home with nice sized bedrooms and beautiful bathrooms. Everything about our stay was exceptional.

The owners were both very friendly, helpful and caring. The room and property was neat, nicely restored. and with nice taste. It's a little like a B&B but quieter and the rooms more hotel like.

The food was very good and the little bar downstairs was quaint and friendly.

Why stay anywhere else. The town is cute too. We would love to return for a quiet get away weekend in the near future. Le Pleasant Hotel is more than Pleasant.

Very impressed with renovation performed just one year ago by 2 owners. Great attention to detail and wonderful service by all - owners and staff. Pride in the establishment, from rooms to martinis, from eggs salmon benedict to dinner tapas with local rose, is expressed consistently.
