This is the only game in town and the location is remote so expectations have to be somewhat tempered. Check-in and checkout were flawless and room prices are reasonable for the area. The room was Spartan as one might imagine, but is sorely in need of refurbishing. The housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired as it was below average according to my wife. Having a restaurant and fuel was a plus. The restaurant offers a good menu selection but is a bit overpriced. Nevertheless, the food quality and service was very good.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the bottom floor (as there is no elevator and the steps are narrow) and a room not...

We came in late at night and they kept the kitchen open so we could eat a warm dinner. It was a great place to spend a night and we were surprised by the pretty view we had when we woke up in the morning! The room was comfortable and overall a great value.

After 13 days on the road motorcycle camping from Wisconsin all the way up through the Yukon and Alaska we were hungry, tired, dirty, and thirsty. This place had it all. Laundry, Bar, Restaurant, Showers, WiFi, Gas, Tent Spots... and a great staff. Everything was clean and the beer was cold. The local patrons were fun. Perfect for the moment in time we happened to be living in!

We stopped in here on are way back to the lower 48. We got the stake sandwiches to go thinking they would be like Philly cheese stakes, but they where very yummy stakes on top of garlic bread. they came with home made fries and onion rings. yes the prices are high but everything up there was high. For what we got I thought it was a far price. In fact I would not have minded paying more.
The lady working in the kitchen was nice and was quick to get are orders made. was very happy with the meals and hot coffee.
Was one of the best stops we made!

Room Tip: We didn't stay in the rooms but the food is great!

Considering how truly remote Destruction Bay in the Yukon actually is Talbot Arm Motel is really a welcome stop. The rooms are nice and clean and they have a nice restaurant that serves up good food. They have a small store and gift shop and even a bar if you need a drink after a long day of driving. The price was really good compared to many of the other hotels/motels along the Alcan (trust me I have stayed in many of them). We have travelled the Alcan sixteen times and this is one of the better places to stay. One big plus for us is they are both pet friendly and they have a nice area to walk your dog. We would definitely stay here again on a future trip.

I have stayed in this motel before and its very nice. Staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. The rooms are pretty basic but there is free wifi in room and satelite flat screen tv.

Its in a small community on Kluane Lake. Its right by the lake and right off the Hwy.

This Motel is definitely not going to make the 5 star rating but it sure was a welcome sight in a long trip. The room was clean and warm on a cold night and the food in the restaurant was quite good. Rooms in the Yukon are hard to come by and there are not many once you pass Haines Junction. I will stay there again. Oh the conversation with other visitors in the dinning room was very fun.
