“Very good stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 August 2014

We stopped at Coco Cay during our Royal Caribbean cruise, nice little island, a bit overcrowded so it was def worth paying $50 to have a cabanette with fruit and water on the beautiful isolated part of the island called barefoot beach; you get a golf cart ride to it. There it lay the real Bahamas, crystal clear waters, white uncrowded beach...blissful....

“Island Fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 August 2014

We visited this island as part of our RCL cruise. We were the only cruise ship on the island at the time, so it wasn't very crowded. We were on the first tender boat out, and immediately went snorkeling.
The snorkeling was great, lots of fishes, but not as picturesque as other ports. The artificial reefs (shipwreck and airplane) were a nice touch, and made for some nice photos. There were quite a few jellyfish, so if that is something that bothers you, just be aware.
The water was nice and clear, but the snorkel beach has a very rocky entry, so either wear water shoes, or get your fins on and swim out as soon as you can.
Overall, this island has something for everyone, whether you want to sunbathe, snorkel, or enjoy water sports.

“Water was beautiful!”

The water was crystal clear, snorkeling was great right near the reef. We saw sea turtles, sting rays, and beautiful fish.

“Great Island Fun”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 August 2014

Coco Cay (Little Stirrup Cay) was Carnival’s Fantasy first port during our 5 day cruise to the Bahamas. As we took a Tender Boat to the island we were let loose to explore. We did the snorkeling excursion which as amazing (Next time I’ll bring my own gear). There were plenty of lounge chairs and places to explore. Lunch was provided by Carnival, otherwise there’s no food on the island that I saw. I only stayed near the cove for snorkeling. There was another ship that was at a nearby island to us, so Carnival’s ship was only on this island. Can’t wait to go back and explore the island.

There were light shopping on the island; they really could care less almost if you bought anything which was a non-badger experiment.

“Great Place for Quality Time”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 August 2014

This stop for cruise ships is a gem. the island offers something for everyone for just the two of you or for a family with children. Once you arrive on the island keep walking to the left and you will quickly find isolated areas to enjoy one of the many Bahama Islands. Most of the cruisers will not walk to the far end of he island but will choose to stay closer to the food court. The island has abundant loungers, bar ares for refreshments of your choice, and several activities. Leave the ship early and enjoy all this stop has to offer. For those who enjoy warm sunshine, great Carribean waters, and quality time with your special someone, this is a. "must" visit.
