This is an amazing location. We arrived in town early enough to do some exploring, and found this spot. The hotel is surrounded by a beautiful, well manicured jungle. The gardens are simply gorgeous! The guests are encouraged to enjoy the serene setting by the strategic placement of outdoor rooms around the property. Seclusion, without appearing anti-social.
The food served at the restaurant was amazing! The menu offered a variety of selections. The items we chose were beautiful to behold, and extremely flavorful.
All of the staff was courteous and extremely helpful. When we asked where we should park our motorcycle, the concierge told us we could park by our room. However, he pointed out a spot outside the office. He said they could keep an eye on it for us, if we parked in that spot, which we did.
All in all, it was a fantastic stay. We will definitely be stopping in again.

What an amazing hotel. The rooms were terrific, beds comfortable. When we opened the blinds we found ourselves in the midst of a garden paradise. Oodles of bird food dishes bringing all sorts of LBBs (little brown birds) and bird song filled the air. And the price is totally reasonable. We asked for permission to pluck a few tangelos from the heavily laden trees -- they were so sweet and juicy. The hotel had a virtual small army of gardeners and staff to tend the garden and to clean the rooms.

Would love to bring young kids -- the tree house, embracing a mature, multi-trunked tree, looked so intriguing -- and there were swings, etc. And of course the kids could run through the grounds, as well.

The restaurant was first class, and very inexpensive. I had a remarkable shrimp fettucine; others similarly enjoyed their dishes. The Ensenada-born waiter spoke flawless English that he had learned at Acapulco.

This is almost a destination hotel. Very, very nice.

Room Tip: We stayed on garden side; lovely.

This hotel is on a few acres of Citrus Grove. Its perfectly manicured and really nice to walk around.
We stayed here both times after long drives with long drives the following day. So it was nice to relax after the day walking around the Citrus Grove and warm up the day with some coffee walking around the grove and garden! nice waking up to the birds chirping!
did I mention its perfectly manicured!
Clean Rooms with TV and clean bathrooms. No frills in the rooms but perfect when passing through

We return to Jardine's twice per year and are never disappointed. The pride of service and care for travellers is wonderful at this peaceful, rejuvenating stop. Jardine's sets the standard for cleanliness, beauty and comfort for hotels anywhere.

Room Tip: Plan to arrive early, tour the grounds and have an excellent supper at the restaurant.

Jardines needs new direction signs. The current signs have either fallen off or faded so badly they can't be reached. Anyway we re-found this wonderful oasis in the desert (about a mile west of the Old Mill) and checked in (yes, you can make reservations via internet or phone r).
The rooms in the back are large, newer and clean, but basic. Front rooms seem to be more sought after but still this is the best place for a couple to stay if they are not fishermen.
One plus is the very good restaurant next door.
