“I just come for the coffee”
Reviewed 26 July 2014

Mexican coffee is the best far better than Columbian. I buy extra to take to the states and now that I'm not likely to return I wish I'd brought more. No kidding, if you like coffee you really ought to stop by.

“good coffee”
Reviewed 6 July 2014

This is a very good coffee shop. It’s relaxing has excellent service and range of beverages. It’s not a restaurant but a coffee shop; nice selection of store bought cakes, pastries and muffins.

“Wow! Great coffee, great sweets”
Reviewed 24 June 2014

Wonderful fresh ground coffee - lattes, cappuccino, regular coffee, etc. Their coconut cream pie is to die for. They are right by the Ajijic plaza and nice for a rest stop. You won't be disappointed!

“Best Restaurant?”
Reviewed 14 April 2014

Cafe Grano is a nice little coffee shoppe, but that's it. They have no food service and a limited selection of baked goods. How on earth this is rated at the number on "restaurant" in Ajijic is mind baffling. They have a nice selection of coffees however my only gripe would be that the drinks they make in house are with a generic Green Mountain Coffee, not any of the local or specialty blends. For a good cup of coffee it's a nice place to stop bye and take a coffee to hang out in the Plaza, but not really anything more.

It is a bit pricey, I paid over 40 pesos for an iced cafe Americano, actually even more than in Starbucks.

“Best coffee”
Reviewed 2 April 2014 via mobile

I look forward to visiting Ajijic. My first stop is here to buy coffee. I stop here before leaving to bring coffee back to the States for myself and friends. It's the best. The women that work there are always friendly and helpful
