We enjoyed this restaurant one block north/east of the main drag on the pueblo side of the highway. The menu was typical taqueria fare, including barbacoa (which may not be an every day thing). The flank steak tacos were good but not excellent, the lamb barbacoa was excellent.
The tables are set in a little courtyard within the walled compound, and provided a serene setting in this quiet corner of Akumal.
Lunch for two with a plate of beans & rice for our toddler was about $100 pesos.
