We stayed for three nights in the honeymoon sweet. The old house is very cute. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us good advice on where to eat. One of the staff used to be a tour guide, and told us about a couple of cenotes to visit that were off the main tourist track, that were amazing. Although there is nothing wrong with the rooms in the new hotel, the old house is way nicer.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in november 2013 for 2 nights. i can honestly say that it was one of the nicest, most genuine and comfortable stays at a hotel we have and anywhere. Julio and his team were the prefect hosts, even getting his sister up super early to make us breakfast on the day we were leaving. The story of the hotel is a great one, so if you do stay there, ask Julio to tell it.

The room was comfortable, clean and very nicely furnished. The ground were lovely too.

If you in Valladolid, stay here.

We loved our stay at this hotel. It is located right in the city center, but is quiet and calm.
The staff are very kind and honestly interested. The room was spacious (bridal suite), the shower was great. Home cooked breakfast was extremely yummy! Safe (locked) parking.

Beutiful place.. owners treat you as family..its like being at home. Its a hidden jewel in valladolid. One night my husband and I came late to the hotel from a long walk and one of the employees was so kind to prepare coffee for us, he even open the kitchen that was closed already. Amaizing experience... And we only stayed one night

My wife and I spent two days and one night in Valladolid. If we were to do it again, we would stay two nights and only one day. Casa Tia Micha was the best part. The room was quaint, comfortable and quiet, the staff was incredibly nice and helpful, and the breakfast was flat-out delicious.

When I left the states, I wrote the following limerick:

Heading South of the border to get off the grid,
Dive blue cenotes and eat delicious fried squid.
If I don’t come back,
Please cut me some slack,
For the mescal is smooth in old Valladolid.

In retrospect, the mescal wasn't all that great; but the accommodations certainly were!

Room Tip: Our room had a Jacuzzi!

Great place to stay, very friendly staff!
Beautiful colonial house with open place to dine.
Nice garden and pool.
Huge rooms and very good value for money.
Nice local breakfast served. Loved the home made mango and pine apple jam and juices.
Fresh orange juice from the orange tree or mango juice from the trees in the garden.
Big supervised parking.
Just 2 blocks from the city centre which is beautiful. It really earns the name of Magical Village.
Definitively going back!

Wow, what a brilliant start to our holiday in Mexico. We loved our time in Valladolid and our stay at this hotel was a huge part of it. We based ourselves here for 3 nights so that we could visit Chichen Itza early before the crowds arrived but we also loved Valladolid itself. Casa Tia Micha ticked all the boxes. It is run by a really lovely family who couldn't do enough to enhance our stay plus it's in the perfect location with a supermarket opposite and a beer shop just a couple of doors up from it. Also, there is a pub at the end of the road and the city plaza is literally just around the corner with some nice restaurants to choose from. Would definitely recommend a stay at this wonderful hotel to enhance your trip to Mexico, we thoroughly enjoyed it. P.s. Make sure you visit cenote xkeken, it is stunning! We visited Ik Kil which is more stunning bit is quite busy with bus loads of people visiting after Chitchen Itza. We visited Xkeken in the morning and pretty much had it to ourselves to swim in. So beautiful and peaceful and one of the highlights of our holiday

Room Tip: We had the honeymoon suite and can definitely recommend it
