We really enjoyed our two nights in Casa Hamaca. Beautifully appointed building and guest rooms. The hotel is fronted by a tropical garden that makes it feel private and serene. Great host (owner) Denis, and the staff is so kind and helpful. Great breakfast. We liked the location, an easy walk to the main square. Denis was full of suggestions about things to see, restaurants, and culture. We visited the Maya ruin Ek Balam, which was well worth the visit. We also had the added treat of being in Valladolid for the children's performances, the first night of this year's Carnaval.
