THis is a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bath apt. The views are spectacular. Everything works in the kitchen. People seem to prefer these mountains for skiing but they are equally lovely for hiking. IF you like TVs there are 3 of them as well as extra systems to watch movies. Most places are closed for dining except on the weekends but we did almost all of our own cooking right here. The one exception is Silver Fork, a very well established all 3 meals restaurant with mostly reasonable prices.
Furniture and beds are comfortable , plenty of clean towels - the one problem was the late afternoon heat ( no air conditioning), but Ken (the owner) bought us 3 large fans and that took care of the heat. I would definitely return.

This top floor penthouse condo in a private condo lodge looks out onto the mountain ski slopes and the balcony gets plenty of sun. Well-equipped, good sound proofing and adequate sized rooms accommodated our extended family gathering with grace. Every room had satellite TV and dvd player and the W-Fi worked well. Ski right to the front door, put your skis in the locker and head for the friendly Solitude Spa for a massage!
The ski resort is small but there is something for everyone at every level. We cooked only one dinner and found the kitchen had all that we needed. Free laundry just down the hall a few steps and complementary detergents, paper towels, soaps, etc made life easy. There is one high-end restaurant steps away, St. Bernards, and three more relaxed eating establishments for all your after ski desires. Club Solitude, just across the walkway out the front door, has an outdoor pool with two hot tubs and saunas as well an exercise room, entertainment center and computer access for all your needs.
I would definitely recommend this condo property and would book again for another stay without hesitation.

2 reviews Everything at Solitude is well thought-out and exceptionally well maintained, and this condo is no exception. It was comfortable and tastefully decorated, with a full complement of modern appliances and features. The condo complex is designed with skiers in mind, making it easy to unload and store gear, and get to/from the slopes with minimum hassle. The focus at Solitude is skiing, comfort and convenience, rather than nightlife. This was fine with me -- I wouldn't hesitate to return.
