Really enjoyed my stay here. Only a couple of miles from whipsnade zoo which is where we were heading.
Room lovely. Free wifi.
Free breakfast was very good though served til 10 not much in the way of hot food left at 9.45.
Would recommend this hotel.
Only grip (very small one) not over generous with milk pots and tea bags in room.

Great value hotel. Rooms are spacious and clean with lovely furnishings. I was astonished that there is free Wifi and free breakfast (which is buffet-style and includes pastries, cereal, coffees etc.). My only criticism is no fridge in room (though i realise this is not standard anymore). Staff were also extremely helpful. Would recommend.

We stayed her for 4 nights whilst we saw the Senior Golf championship at Woburn which is only a 15 minute away and very easy to get to. However, I assume "Express" means they only cater for a one night stay as there was no drawers etc for our clothing. There was a very small bar to hang about 3 items from. We therefore had to literally live out of the suitcase. The receptionist (Emma) was a bit frosty and we did not feel particularly welcomed. However, the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a really good size and the shower enormous!! Rooms were lovely and clean. Breakfast was a bit chaotic but perfectly adequate. We did not eat there in the evening as we found there was not a great choice on the menu and it was quite expensive. Each night we walked the 5 minute walk to the Highwayman pub where we had lovely meals. We paid £172 for four nights bed and breakfast which was excellent value. Would recommend and will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a room at the back of the hotel - this overlooks the gorgeous countryside.

For the £45 we paid, excellent value for money. Good sized family room, sofa bed already made up on arrival, lovely clean room and bathroom, and the shower was amazing! With breakfast included, would definitely recommend this hotel !

This hotel was opened approximately 15 months ago and upon arrival you feel as if you are staying at a newly opened hotel. It is situated alongside the A5 and if you are travelling through Dunstable then just follow the A5 or High St North and continue until you are just leaving the built up area. You will pass The Highwayman pub / restaurant on the same side and you need to be in the left hand lane to turn into the hotel car park which has plenty of spaces. Don't forget to book online via the Holiday Inn website for the best deal. The hotel rate will include breakfast which is more than adequate and as it is buffet style you can eat and drink as much as you like on offer. You can also eat in the evening. It is not an extensive food list but if you don't feel like venturing out then you will probably find something to eat. There is a bar available. Don't forget The Highwayman is just a 5 min walk away. It is a little further into town and you will mostly find Indian or Thai restaurants other then pub food in the evenings. We went to Lumpini (Thai) on High St South and Graziano on High St North. You will need transport for both and I highly recommend that you book in advance. The hotel is in a newly developing area but is quiet even though it sits by the A5. Definitely worth a stay if you are in the area. If you want to go to the zoo this is drivable in a short time and if you want to travel to London by train you can go to Leagrave or Luton Parkway stations. We went to Leagrave and managed to purchase a rtn ticket for £9.50 and arrived in less than 45 mins. Only one gripe we reported a bedside light not working which didn't get repaired during our stay.

Room Tip: On 3 floors you might prefer the 3rd floor for the quietest rooms.

Stayed early in the week, arrived around 9pm,very Busy but still plenty of parking on the well lit car park, Motorcycles could be parked near to the front door/ Reception.Food stops at 9Pm so had Pizza delivered to hotel by a Local Domminoes which was suggested by the staff at the Hotel.Large modern open reception, effecient staff, room on the 3rd floor was a decent size, all very new and modern and clean, bathroom with shower all very clean and well appointed. I ordered a late check out ,which is no extra, and enabled me to work in the room until 2pm.You would be hard pushed to find a better, value for money Hotel in this area.Free wifi, a little noisey during the day trying to work due to deliveries at the back of the hotel and construction work going on at the front, breakfast was dissapointing hence only 4 stars...

Room Tip: Rooms at the back overlook green fields
