Stayed here whilst on business. Very dark and dingy place. The bar itself is fine but the accommodation is very very basic but I guess you shouldnt expect anymore for the price. The rooms are quite spacious but poorly decorated and equippped with old Tv's and furniture etc. My room had the smallest window overlooking a neighbouting wall which was so close you could touch it. My bed was falling apart. The bathrooms are old and need refurbishing deperately. The floorboards are lacking nails and you can hear everyone walking about. The door closers are useless and are set to "SLAM". The walls are very thin and god help you if you get a snorer next door, as I did. Breakfast is good and when relaxing later, a good selection of real ales at the bar. Overall, if you are looking for a buget place to sleep this fits the bill.
