Excellent theatre in the heart of Dunstable. Showing movies and plays throughout the year. Excellent sound system for films and a nice selection of drinks on offer including larger and wine.

Thank John E

Myself and my partner went to see the show with another couple. We all had a great night. Sang and danced all the way through the evening. Defiantly a good night out.

Saw the fabulous Jamie Raven here.

Pros
Gorgeous little theatre
Spotless modern toilets
Comfy seats

Cons
Box Office not obvious to a new comer walking from car park
Nearest car park very, very dark and frequented by people using it as a racing track
The website sometimes didn't load properly on a smart phone.

Tip to theatre goers
Best to use a pc to navigate pages and book.
Box office is at the right end of the bar

Tip to management
Look into more marketing. A real shame the last show of the Jamie Raven tour was nowhere near full.
Suggest you liaise with council and have better signage to the theatre car park and much better lighting. Regular patrols may make it safer with reducing bikes going round at speed

Would we visit again? If we were in the area again I'd certainly look to see if anything was on.

Great little theatre

The Grove used to (and still do) charge you £2 per booking to book your tickets online which I thought was a bit of a cheek since it costs them nothing and surely they want you to book with them anyway. As such, when possible we always booked at the desk. However, during our last trip, we found that they have changed their policy and now charge you £2 per booking to pay at the desk! Can you believe that? They are actually charging you to buy your own tickets at the door - what a diabolical liberty. Such a cynical ploy to grab a few more £s will surely lose them customers which will serve them right for being so tight-fisted. How can you advertise a ticket price and then charge people if they actually want to buy them!

Another excellent night at the theatre - or in this case the movies - watching the return of the fabulous cast of Mamma Mia, with Here We Go Again. Apart from the movie which was excellent, the acoustics were great, seats were comfortable, refreshments were fairly quick, and the staff were their usual friendly and helpful selves. Moan about Dunstable all you like, but we're so lucky to have this fabulous facility right on our doorsteps, and as they say, use it or lose it. We use it and love it!

We're so lucky to have this beautiful theatre in our town park gardens. There's a wide variety of performances on offer too , everything from comedy, to tribute bands, psychic evenings, TV actors and presenters providing interesting talk shows, theatre and pantomime productions and films. And apart from the spacious theatre setting there's a bar and hot drinks area catering for pre/interval/post performances.

Had a lovely afternoon, 1st time my granddaughter watched a theatre play.
She loved it! The music and acting the whole thing!
They have a bar, where you can buy sweets and drink! bar expensive but its a theatre, none are cheep!!
Theatre staff friendly and helpful, very clean!
Theatre its self is a good size, and clean!
That s is my 3rd visit to the grove, each time has been good experience.
My granddaughter and myself will be going back in December, to see snow white and the 7 dwarfs.
