“Wonderful staff”
Reviewed 5 February 2014

I have stayed here twice on a business trip and the hotel is really lovely. What sets it apart however is the staff. They genuinely cannot do enough for you, they are friendly, enthusiastic, accommodating and responsive, really phenomenal!

Stayed here overnight (literally just the night) for a friend's birthday. Lovely building and grounds, great welcome and couldn't fault any of the service from greeting to bar to breakfast.
Nice room, large bathroom and good room service. Also loved the free biscuits!
Made ourselves get up for breakfast in the small front room as a larger party had the main restaurant. Food was fantastic.
Only downside was noise in the room. We had a door interconnecting our bathroom with room next door. Very noisy and let's just say there are no secrets which is disconcerting when you don't know your neighbours.

An old manner house set in its own grounds just of the M1.
Our room was large and well decorated with a double poster bed and little details like freshly baked biscuits and fruit left in the room made it a real treat.
Lovely view out onto a lovely old Oak tree.
Breakfast was waitress service and good quality. The staff in the dining room were very friendly and helpful.
We liked this place.

Once again Flitwick Manor came up with the goods! We had organised a surprise party for my husbands birthday and the staff kept the surprise going until we were shown into the beautifully panelled private dining room. The food was exellent and as usual the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. This is not the first time we have had a function at the Manor nor will it be the last, it's good to be able to rely on such consistently high standards. The hotel is in a lovely setting and the whole atmosphere is one of relaxed comfort with a wonderful ambience.

Only stayed one night as we were attending a wedding nearby. The car parking seemed fairly higgledy piggledy in between large trees and it was tricky finding a spot as we were late in the evening. The receptionist was very polite on our late arrival and showed us to our room.

The hotel is lovely. We had a room that was filled with antiques. The bed was large and comfortable. It was generally clean too. A few fixtures in the bathroom could do with an update. We had a lovely view of the grounds and our room was quiet and cosy.

The breakfast room was fairly small and was full when we came down, but the staff got us some tea as we waited at the seats in the hall. My partner had a cooked breakfast and he said it tasted great. I had poached eggs that were cooked to order perfectly.

I would love to stay again for a longer stay. There does seem to be great variation in the prices people pay but I am sure some good offers are out there.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to family but what a find!
We stayed over Christmas on their Christmas package. It’s a hotel that’s full of character, ideally suited to a traditional British Christmas. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating and the food was excellent and seemingly non-stop! We had 5 of the rooms and each was unique, clean, warm and comfortable with fresh homemade biscuits every day.
We will definitely return.

A lovely hotel, friendly, helpul staff, excellent food (and plenty of it). Our room was lovely, clean, warm and comfortable . Very large with a huge bed. The room with the disco was a bit too small for all the guests to dance comfortably, but being an old building probably not much can be done about that. We would recommend the hotel for a special celebration

Room Tip: Room 9 has a huge sleigh bed
