Parents stayed here for more than two weeks. Perfect, quiet location with private parking right outside. Close to local facilities but on a secluded common so peaceful and rural in feel. Lovely, cosy barn annex, self-contained, tastefully and calmly decorated, comfortable with a good shower. Hosts are warm and friendly, helpful but discreet.

We really enjoyed our Chilterns cycling break at The Lodge. This is a lovely bedroom with nice shower room attached and an attractive paved area outside, where we enjoyed breakfast each day. Very comfy bed and ample space to store bikes in the garden. A short walk into Amersham took us to excellent eateries and we enjoyed discovering lots of picturesqe villages in the area. It was a pleasure to meet you Diana and Colin, very many thanks for a lovely time!

I have stayed at the Lodge a number of times. Whenever i have a function on near London or just a nice chilled weekend getaway this is always my go to place to stay! It really does feel like a home away from home. The hosts Diana and Colin are so friendly and instantly make you feel welcome. It is a nicely decorated spacious room with an en-suite and very private with your own entrance and outdoor seating area. The property itself and surrounding areas are just lovely. The local village of Amersham is only a 5 - 10 min walk away and has some great bars and restaurants. Old Amersham is also walk-able through lovely countryside or a very short drive away.
With Some fantastic pubs and cafes. 'Grocers' the cafe does amazing coffees and food!! Definitely worth a visit. The train station is only a 15 min walk from the BnB and this gets you straight into London in 40 mins which is fantastic! Beautiful walks all around and the chess valley is a stones throw away from your front door.

This is perfect for anyone wanting a weekend away visiting London and the beautiful countryside of Buckinghamshire. The best of both world!!!

My elderly parents stayed here for a week for my wedding. It was difficult for them to stay with me because of the stairs in my house. Diana's room was very comfortable for them and had easy access. Diana couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, even asked what breakfast foods my parents preferred. Highly recommended place to stay.

We found this perfect little gem and were not disappointed. Everything is thought of and provided. Diana supplies a sumptuous breakfast which is placed in the mini fridge so you can eat when you like - she even made me a gluten free granola : delicious. The location is perfect for discovering the local area. It is a home from home. Thank you Diana - we had a lovely time. Karen and Stuart
