“Not all local and very expensive”
Reviewed 19 April 2013

i have visited this market a couple of times now and have been disappointed both times.

The prices are quite high which makes most of the produce beyond many pockets and I'm not sure that I would want to buy a chicken that had potentially been left unrefrigerated for hours on a table in the sun. I know that many people wish to buy organic produce, but it would be good to have a better range of foods by incorporating more 'regular', cheaper choices.

Although it is supposed to be locally produced goods, many of the cheeses on sale certainly aren't.

“Small but good farmers market”
Reviewed 2 April 2013

Winslow Market is the first Sunday of the month from 10 to 2. It is worth getting there early as a number of the popular stall holders run out of produce before the official end. There is a wonderful pie man, apple juice, wine, lots of local meat producers, cakes, and a seasonal variety of others. The only small moan is that there is not a lot of fresh veg available. What there is sells out quite quickly.

All good quality stuff. A lot of the meat producers do other local farmers markets as well. Winslow is quite a small town, but then market is useful to stock up. There is a very good coffee stand?

“Ho hum”
Reviewed 8 February 2013

Not very large, and mostly an excuse to over-price 'local' produce. There is a good effort to add other entertainment by whoever organises this, but as at most 'Farmers' markets, I can't help feeling that I'm being ripped off.

“Not bad but a bit small and neat.”
Reviewed 1 April 2012

Came today, a lovely unseasonably warm blue sky April morning. Nothing wrong with it except perhaps a little top precious regimented and nice. A small grid of matching recreational tent tops with the usual collection of flowers and bedding plants, bread and meats. A reasonable cluster of punters mid morning. A well behaved and suburban feel. We enjoyed it for about forty minutes bit there was nothing particularly unusual or enticing. Came away with some bread and meat. Pleasant setting on a small square beside the main road but a moderate trek back to the nearest car parking afterward. Four Tripadvisor spots for effort but no sparkle.
