“A cracking Farmers Market”
Reviewed 6 March 2014

We have been to this market a couple of times now and the atmosphere is great, always some entertainment on and the stall holders are all very friendly. We went and bought everything we needed for our evening meal. Nice Meat and fresh vegetables, and a couple of Buckingham Brewery's beers. Lovely cakes for afterwards from the Swanbourne stall.

“Not forgetting the small Wednesday market in the square.”
Reviewed 5 July 2013

Every Wednesday there is a much smaller market. When we have been here on that day it has always been a small affair, mostly veg but also some plants and sometimes other stalls. Makes central parking difficult but adds a bit to the character of the town.

“Lovely little market”
Reviewed 5 May 2013

We have a couple of friends there, so we generally will go out of our way to visit the Winslow market. Our favorite stalls so far are the Oving Dexters (grass-fed beef, traditional breed, ethically raised) and the Buckingham Brewery. In fact, we just had both for dinner: YUM.

Everyone is very nice, samples are happily offered, and we don't find the prices all that high - you definitely get what you pay for in quality and service.

“Not all local and very expensive”
Reviewed 19 April 2013

i have visited this market a couple of times now and have been disappointed both times.

The prices are quite high which makes most of the produce beyond many pockets and I'm not sure that I would want to buy a chicken that had potentially been left unrefrigerated for hours on a table in the sun. I know that many people wish to buy organic produce, but it would be good to have a better range of foods by incorporating more 'regular', cheaper choices.

Although it is supposed to be locally produced goods, many of the cheeses on sale certainly aren't.

“Small but good farmers market”
Reviewed 2 April 2013

Winslow Market is the first Sunday of the month from 10 to 2. It is worth getting there early as a number of the popular stall holders run out of produce before the official end. There is a wonderful pie man, apple juice, wine, lots of local meat producers, cakes, and a seasonal variety of others. The only small moan is that there is not a lot of fresh veg available. What there is sells out quite quickly.

All good quality stuff. A lot of the meat producers do other local farmers markets as well. Winslow is quite a small town, but then market is useful to stock up. There is a very good coffee stand?
