My colleagues and I had a great staff night out in Paprika. It was well organised with super service all evening. They knew who had ordered each meal and actually came out and asked for us by name which made a nice change with such a big group. The food was great...no complaints from all 21 of us! Thank you for a brilliant evening.

We had a one night stay in the village and had dinner here. We started with filo wrapped prawns which were beautifully presented and delicious. It was downhill after that though.
I ordered pork steaks with gratin potato, cumin broccoli and carrots. It was presented very much in a "meat and two veg" manner, meat on one side, veg on the other. The wife has Porc Catalan, which was tasty enough, but served with way too many cubed potatoes.
For dessert I had the white chocolate and raspberry roulade, which was very light but short on both white chocolate and raspberry. Again, the presentation lacked something.
With aperitifs and wine to go with our three course meal our bill came to less than £65 so you can't really complain. Good enough value for money without being very exciting. Enhancing the presentation would improve it no end.

Paprika is a real little find in Winslow. Tucked out the way around the back of the market square, it is small and intimate and a real hit with many loyal regulars.

The menu is varied with the usual brasserie staples plus some interesting specials. Price point is reasonable and the service has a real family feel about it where the proprietors make it a very comfortable place for all.

You need to book on a Friday and Saturday as it gets full - testament to the quality of the Paprika.
