Lovely place. Everything we needed. Looks tiny but this cottage has plenty of space. Enjoyed the sunsets and waking up to see the cows in the field on this working farm. We were visiting family in Stoke and this was so much nicer to have as a base camp rather then the usual hotels, this was a home away from home for 5 nights and we enjoyed the lazy mornings and evenings here. Nestled in the countryside but near enough to lovely villages and then not far at all from main towns. Will defiantly consider staying here again. Many thanks Beth & Glyn.
(Actual date of stay was October 2011, but option to leave review was not available then)
You couldn't ask for a better home from home. Everything was perfect and even treated to complimentary eggs and milk, just in case we forget to bring in breakfast.
Underfloor heating was a treat, particularly on a couple of cold, wet and windy days. But no need to go anywhere as full range of TV, DVD player, and much more to be used.
Lots to visit and do "locally" (i.e. within 20 miles) and ideal for Alton Towers which is about 15 minutes drive.
Beth & Glyn are lovely hosts. Nothing too much trouble.
Looking forward to returning October 2016 ...
