A gorgeous little cottage that has charm, decorated beautifully and has everything yo need. Perfect to visit the surrounding Staffs countryside - we aim to return!
I booked this for my daughter & boyfriend as a gift. They said the cottage was perfect in an ideal location and very clean, warm & cosy they also felt it had everything you could need for a stay, the bed was very comfortable & the shower was huge. We will be booking again for ourselves.
The cottage is conveniently located behind the High Street. It was very well presented and everything was very clean and fresh. Instructions for parking and key collection were very clear.
A spotless clean lovely cottage in the most perfect hidden quiet position. Near to many Local attractions . We loved Cheadle and with the high street only steps away from this charming hideaway cottage it was everything we were looking for . We did loads of long walks through the surrounding countryside & although it was very muddy totally enjoyed everyone of them. RSPB Coombes was great as was Trentham Gardens. We found the Summerhouse in the high street very friendly & excellent for breakfast . Fish shop opposite was great as was the local Weatherspoons just a couple of minutes away. The cottage had a nice selection of books ,dvds & some games. Thank you so much Joanne for letting us stay in your gorgeous cottage & also for the welcoming little touches that make such a difference at the start of a holiday. Hope to return in the future .
A wonderful little cottage, with everything you could wish for. An interesting location, explore Cheadle with the town trail. Visit local history trails at Oakamore and Froghall following old rail and canal lines with lots of opportunity for tea and cakes.
The beautiful gardens of NT Biddulph Grange are only 40 minutes away. Cheadle has several good coffee/tea shops, an old Oatcake shop where you can see this Staffordshire speciality being made, and enjoy a 1st class meal at The New Olive Tree. We look forward to a return visit to Hidden Cottage and more discoveries in the area.
Up a narrow passage, open a door and there is the charming cottage. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable and warm, it was wonderful. A perfect place to stay to visit the potteries or the Peak District.
My partner and I really enjoyed our mid week break in this delightful cottage.
We used it as a base to see Cheadle and visit the surrounding areas.
Joanne had equipped the cottage with essentials so there was no need to go for that pint of milk or toilet rolls etc... Most appreciated.
The décor was of a superior standard and it definitely felt like home from home. It was just perfect a haven from the busy high street and only a few steps to find yourself there.
Would we recommend? Most definitely
